Today, I decided to look up the lyrics to Benny and the Jets by Sir Elton John.

I looked them up because I realized that I didn’t know any of the lyrics, yet sang along anyway.

It turns out the only two words I actually did know were “benny” and “jets”. Look them up yourself and be astonished.

Isn’t it amazing that we can sing along to a song and not know any of the words?
